Frequently Asked Questions

When will Guidava / Sort It Out be available?

Sort It Out is still in development, and I expect it to be available in January 2027. The physical deck is the first core product, and Guidava is developing a post-sort experience to launch alongside it so students can capture their priorities and use them in the research and decisions that follow.

I’ll share launch updates and availability through the Guidava website as the deck and those first tools are finalized.

Is there an online version?

Not yet. The first Guidava release will be the physical Sort It Out deck.

Guidava is also developing an online post-sort experience to launch alongside the deck, helping students capture a completed sort, organize their priorities, and use them in the research and decisions that follow. Counselors working remotely will also be able to choose direct-to-student shipping for the physical deck.

Updates will be shared as those tools and remote-use options are finalized.

Will students or counselors be able to capture a completed sort and create or print a report?

Yes. Guidava is developing a post-sort experience to accompany the physical deck so students and counselors can capture the priorities that emerged from a completed sort and turn them into something useful afterward.

The first version is expected to help organize those priorities into a clear summary that can be saved or printed and used in later conversations, research, and decision-making. Guidava is also developing follow-up questions and prompts tied to the student’s priorities so the sort can lead directly into the next stage of exploration.

More details will be shared as that experience is finalized.

How is Guidava different from Corsava?

Guidava is a new, independent experience. It builds on the same student-centered principle of helping students understand what matters to them first, while expanding the range of pathways, priorities, and questions students face today.

How will remote use work?

Counselors who work remotely can choose to have a physical Sort It Out deck shipped directly to a student.

Guidava is also working toward a fully online option for remote use in the future, so counselors and students will eventually have more than one way to use the experience at a distance.

In the meantime, the physical deck and the online post-sort experience are being designed to work together so students can complete the sort, capture their priorities, and bring those results into virtual counseling conversations and next steps.

What will the What’s Next experience do?

The What’s Next experience is being designed to help students use the priorities that emerge from their Sort It Out deck after the sorting itself is finished.

The first version is expected to help students capture and organize their completed sort, create a clear summary they can save or print, and generate useful follow-up questions and prompts tied to what matters most to them.

Those questions can then support the research, conversations, and decisions that follow, whether students are exploring colleges, other educational pathways, costs, careers, programs, or other next steps.
